Kallaway Event Management at Banqueting House for BG

BG Group, a leading player in the global energy market, approached Kallaway to help them create high level cultural networking and entertaining events.

The first major event was for international ambassadors and business leaders gathering in London, many of whom did not speak English as their first language.

Kallaway created a 'money can't buy' experience for the 200 high level guests, using the theme of dance to help unite an audience from a wide geographical spread.

The event was staged within the exquisite setting of the Banqueting House, the only remaining component of Whitehall Palace in London.

Kallaway's artistic direction drew together a programme of performances by the Akram Khan Dance Company, Tango Renaissance with Johan Kobborg & Alina Cojacaru and Principal dancers of the Royal Ballet.

Our events team managed all elements of the evening from guest and invitation management, production and floor management to security and health and safety.

Guests enjoyed a dinner where each course was punctuated with exclusive performances on the specially constructed stage with King Charles I's throne in the background and the only surviving in-situ Rubens ceiling painting above them.
