Ken Burton
Ken Burton is an international conductor, performer,
composer and educator whose work is carried out in churches,
on television and radio, in the recording industry,
on stage, educational institutions, prisons, hospitals,
and many other venues, as well as on the internet. His
work has been seen, heard, read, or performed by tens
of millions of people worldwide.
It is the integration of his faith and learning that
has influenced what he does as principal conductor of
the acclaimed London Adventist Chorale, Croydon Seventh
Day Adventist Gospel Choir, Goldsmiths Chamber
Choir, and many other workshop choirs internationally;
his compositions published by Faber Music, and in his
busy schedule of music education both at college and
university level, and in workshops.
Already this year, Ken has been a studio guest of Aled
Jones in his new series The Choir for BBC Radio 3 and
also on BBC Television's Songs of Praise. A return visit
to Kenya with the London Adventist Chorale is planned
for this spring followed by a busy schedule throughout
2006.
