About The Competition
The BBC encourages choirs of all abilities to take part in the competition. Choirs can enter in one of three categories:

•  Children - up to 14 years old
•  Youth - up to 25 years old
•  Adult - any age.
  

Regional heats are held across the UK, making participation as easy as possible. Many choirs find the regional heats to be one of the most enjoyable and informative parts of the competition as they can meet and learn from a wide range of choirs taking part.
