

David Harber
David Harber has been creating custom-built sundials, sculptures and water features for a range of individuals and business clients since 1992. His dials have been unveiled by HM the Queen, HRH Prince Charles, Prince of Wales and HRH Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, and he created a bespoke sundial for the HM Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother at Walmer Castle. Some of his high profile private clients include Judi Dench, Jeremy Irons, George Michael, Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull and Jeremy Paxman and his international corporate work has featured in countries as far afield as Dubai and Singapore. His work has frequently won awards at the Chelsea Flower Show and in 2009 he was given the RHS Sundries Trophy for the third year in a row.
In April 2010 he launched an astonishing new sundial at the Science Museum based on a 400-year old design by John Blagrave, one of Britains greatest mathematical instrument makers. David was inspired by the recent discovery that Blagrave is a direct ancestor and that, until Davids discovery, this masterpiece has never been built.
Kallaways media campaign aimed to build on David Harbers established reputation within the press as one of the UKs leading outdoor sculptors and used the Blagrave sundial to generate new interest in his work from a diverse range of relevant media outlets.
Highlights of the campaign included Davids appearance on BBC Radio 4s Midweek and the inclusion of his work in The Field and The London Magazine reaching wealthy audiences both in London and in the country. He was also interviewed on BBC Radio Oxfordshire and prominent, in-depth articles appeared in The Oxford Times and The Henley Standard.
