2005 Competition
2005 sees the 10th Linbury Biennial Prize for Stage Design. The competition follows seven distinct stages that start with an initial submission of applications in May and June 2005 and culminate in a month long exhibition at London's National Theatre in November 2005 at which the winners are announced.

The selection process is conducted by some of the UK's leading professional theatre designers and artistic directors.

The four commissioning companies with which the 12 short-listed candidates will be working are:

1. Bristol Old Vic
2. Gate Theatre, Notting Hill
3. Nottingham Playhouse
4. Random Dance, Sadlers Wells.

Four candidates will be selected to have their work realised with the commissioning companies.
