The alumni of the Linbury Biennial represent
the best of British and world theatre design,
including Tony and Olivier award winning
designers. Previous winners and finalists
include Anthony Ward, Vicki Mortimer, Tim
Hatley, Neil Warmington, Es Devlin and Yannis
Thavoris.
In 2003 Becs Andrews was named as overall
winner. Becs went on to design Jeff Koons
for Actors Touring Company to national critical
acclaim. Other winners included Ben Stones
for his designs for Royal Theatre, Northampton's
production of Paradise Lost and Adam
Wiltshire who worked with The Opera Group
on a newly commissioned opera Birds.
