Stella Vine
Modern Art Oxford staged the first ever exhibition in a public gallery of work by controversial artist Stella Vine in the summer of 2007. It was also the first time that a large body of her work had been seen by the public and it included many of her most well-known paintings including those depicting Princess Diana and Kate Moss, alongside more personal self-portraits and images of her family.
Kallaway worked with Stella Vine and Modern Art Oxford to manage the huge amount of press interest the exhibition generated both in the UK and internationally. We ensured that Stella gave interviews only to respected and trusted journalists from target publications.
Four major interviews in The Sunday Times Magazine, The Observer, Independent on Sunday and GQ were supported by stories in publications ranging from Red, Grazia, Easy Living, Vogue and Design Week to news stories in The Guardian, The Independent, Financial Times and Evening Standard. In total the exhibition generated 20 major stories in the UK press.
"Kallaway's press campaign for the Stella Vine exhibition secured
a number of high profile
features and interviews
and helped to raise the
national and
international profile of
Modern Art Oxford
significantly. They were
a pleasure to work with -
thorough, efficient and
professional throughout."
Director, Modern Art Oxford
"Stella Vine is bang on the money: the paintings in her first solo show skewer celebrity culture with a vitality and truth that can't be faked
