Japan House London appoints Kallaway

Kallaway has been appointed to run the launch PR campaign for Japan House London, the new home for Japanese culture in the UK.  

Japan House London is funded by the Japanese Government’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs  and Kallaway won the tender following a competitive four way pitch.

Japan House London presents the very best of Japanese art, design, gastronomy, innovation, and technology. It aims deepens the UK’s appreciation of all that Japan has to offer and foster trade and tourism. It is part of a global initiative led by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and there are two other Japan Houses in Los Angeles and São Paulo.

Japan House London will be located on High Street Kensington and become a permanent addition to London.

Kallaway has forged an international reputation for successfully launching land mark cultural buildings and delivering highly effective place making campaigns for destinations.  Examples launch campaigns include The William Morris Gallery, The Mary Rose Museum, The View from The Shard, The National Museum for the Royal Navy and Wellcome Collection.  Kallaway runs place making and destination building campaigns for The Crown Estate, Battersea Power Station and Margate.
