The View from the Shard

The viewing galleries at the top of The Shard, the tallest building in Western Europe, are the only way to see all of London at once. Tasked with launching The View from The Shard as London’s new premium tourist attraction, we had to overcome cynicism about whether it was good value for money – and help the attraction reach one million visitors in year one. Our ‘High Society’ campaign convinced the media, celebrities, Londoners and visitors that it is a special, must-visit destination. We hosted tours and briefings for over 400 journalists and broadcasters and a VIP launch party for ‘Fabulous Londoners’, garnering blanket UK, international and lifestyle coverage. Our campaign helped The View from The Shard sell more than 166,000 tickets in advance of its opening and secure its millionth visitor within the first 12 months.
